Financial Report for July 2026
Bank Balances
Checking $19,899
CDs $37,054
PayPal 0
Stripe $ 1,465
Total $58,418
P/L
Loss of $5,875 for July
YTD profit $1,134
As I often say, the loss is because of our Cash Method of accounting. During July we paid expenses for events that the income had been collected in previous months. These events include the Vie Dunn Harr workshop and Summer Art Camp. We always profit from these events, but the income is collected in months before the actual costs are paid out. We will be receiving approx. $2,100 from the HOT tax grant towards Vie Dunn Harr workshop costs.
Other out of the ordinary items:
$300 gift paid to Bobbie Davis to help with her medical costs, collected from the sale of 2 paintings sold at the gift Shop, that had been donated to ALFB.
$175 paid for advertising with the Rosenberg Police Dept Magnet Sponsorship.
Karen is setting up Building Fund.
REMINDER: If you sell something that is donated, it’s a sale, not a donation, so there is sales tax. Kathy said that she was going to verify this with Karen.
Unfinished Business
1.Texas Roadhouse Dine to Donate. Linda is setting this up and date TBD but will not be on September 23.Donations to ALFB.Art can be displayed.
2.Karen is researching Don’s plan to simplify POS system for purchases and also add a new label printer where we can print one label at a time.System will have scan and go and will print receipts.Separates POS from QB where POS imports into QB.
