September Newsletter
FROM THE
ALFB EASEL
"As an artist, the ALFB is a great place where art, people, ideas, and the community come together. That is why it is meaningful to me - not only as an artist, but also as a volunteer and member of the art community. I am grateful!
Art can sometimes feel like a personal journey, but being in a gallery reminds me that art is also about connection and communication. I enjoy volunteering at the gallery because I have the opportunity to meet other artists, help with exhibitions and events, and contribute to creating a welcoming place for our community. The gallery gives artists opportunities to display their work, receive feedback, and exchange ideas, and discover new perspectives.
The shows, receptions, workshops and other events bring artists and art lovers together. They create opportunities to make new connections, learn from one another, and celebrate creativity. For me, volunteering is not only about helping the gallery, it is a way of continuing to learn and grow as an artist. I feel proud to be a part of a community where artists support one another and where everyone has an opportunity to share their creativity.
Our mission as gallery volunteers is to support the gallery's vision by creating a welcoming, creative and inspiring environment for artists and visitors."
Warmest Regards,
- Fereshtah Solati, Gallery Director
