Last week on Friday I had an appointment with our Wells Fargo banker Detarius Williams, to renew our CD’s that had matured on 9/10/26 and open our new Building Fund savings account. About 5 minutes into our meeting the power went out! We waited about 20 minutes, then they had to close and lock up. I’ll meet with him again on Wednesday or Thursday this week. I have confirmed that debit cards for all of us who currently have them—Debbie Rose, Kathy Golden, Brenda Bowman, and myself—will automatically renew when our cards expire.
I’ve reviewed the Point-of-Sale software resell4.me that Don Golden has recommended. And talked with Don and Kathy about it. Then Don sent me more info about how resell4.me works with our accounting software QuickBooks, but I haven’t had time to evaluate that yet. I’ll have time to get back to it after Oct 1.
August loss (3,481)
We didn’t receive any Workshop income this month. Usually, we have some income for our big workshops such as Vie Dunn Harr and the upcoming Luanne Rimel.

Aprons & Got Art T’s for inventory $417
Smart Board Stand $227
Gift shop window displays T.Ohman $425
July Summer camp teachers $900
June Summer camp teachers $300
Total $2,932 (close to the loss of $3,481)
BUDGET
I have to prepare the 2027 Budget for approval at the October 12 Board meeting. Your input is needed. What do you expect to spend money on for your areas of responsibility. For example, I’m anticipating we’ll need to spend an additional $2,000 for accounting and/or Point of Sale software, and maybe $1,000 for printer and computer equipment.
Board will need to review the 2027 budget for approval by October 17 so it can be posted for General Membership to review for Vote at the October General Member meeting.
