🎨 FROM THE PRESIDENTS EASEL
As 2025 comes to a close, I am amazed at all of the wonderful things that have been happening at The ALFB. Wait until you read what is happening in 2026!
Come February, we will be visited by forty-four rug-hooked President Portraits to celebrate our chief executives along with our nation's two hundred fiftieth birthday! Stay tuned for a gallery talk on presidential pets, hobbies, and miscellaneous trivia. Do you know which President had a fear of the sight of blood?
Coming in June, all members are invited to join our next special exhibit, "Outside the Box"! Start with a wooden cigar box and transform it into something extraordinary. Let your imagination take the lead. It promises to be a great show and we expect it to be a hit with the public.
Of course there is also the Vie Dun Harr Workshop coming up, along with our Spring Show! We will also be participating in a live art show in June for LSAG along with our sister leagues.
Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to all of you wonderful members!
- Linda Peitz
