General Member Meeting

Call to order at 10:00 am by President Linda Pietz
Welcome New Members - Fazia Amir and Chrys Maher
Approval of Minutes - February 24, 2025 - tabled.
Update from the Board
· New First Aid kits have been hung in the kitchen area of both locations.
· Registration for LSAG is built out on the website.
· The board previewed a new brochure presented by Travis.
Financial Report - No Report
New Business
· LSAG Draft revisions to Category J - Studio Fine Craft Show rules.
o It will be divided into fiber, ceramics, glass, jewelry, and wood. Printmaking will be a subcategory of Drawing. If approved, these will be applicable for the Fall show. Brenda left a copy at the front desk for members to review and welcomes your feedback.
· Those of you who work the Gallery/Giftshop, please fulfill your obligation on Team Up and arrive early to open up. Do not remove your name if you cannot work, trade with someone, or pay a substitute.

Committee Reports
· Art Shows and Workshops - Debbie Rodriguez
o The show deadline is coming up on Saturday, March 29th.
o If an artist is not in LSAG, contact Debbie Rodriguez, and she will set you up.
o When you register on the website, be sure to register both with LSAG and ALFB. When you request to pay, you will receive an invoice from Travis. Also, be sure to volunteer to help.
· Education Committee - Bobbie Davis
o A table was manned at the Wine and Beer Walk to give membership information and to advertise for the Summer Kids Camp.
o Eugenia is heading up the Summer Camp and has enough teachers signed up, but needs more assistants.
o The Wharton Library is looking for art teachers for Wednesdays in June and July for 2-hour classes. They are willing to pay between $150 and $250, Salary TBD - see Bobbie.
o Next education committee meeting, April 11th at 1 pm in the conference room.
· Community Display - Brenda Bowman
o The Civic Center will be in April, SL Airport in May and June, the FB Museum probably in August and September, and the George Library on hold for now.
· Fundraising - Brenda Bowman - working on show awards.
· Events - Ellie Damiano
o If you have artwork in the show, please make display cards for Preview Night. We are planning to have a sale of donated 12 x 12 2D and 3D art pieces, and we need more pieces donated.
o Studio artists plan to have two dozen desserts in your space and wine if you want.
· Gallery - Fereshteh Solati
o The show schedule was presented. This can be found on the website.
· Gift Shop -Debbie Rose
o Changeout will occur just like the Gallery. Please remove previous items and place new items on the back shelves. Debbie will curate these, which should remain for the quarter unless sold. Items need to be under $150 and handmade.
o The Gift Shop policy can be found in the front of the binder at the Gift Shop desk.
· Marketing - Nina Struthers no report.
· Membership/website - Travis Lairson - no report
· Rosenberg - Kathy Golden
o The next big event for RAA will be the Car Show in September.
o The next RAA Member Blender will be Thursday, March 27th, at 5:30 p.m. at The Another Time Soda Fountain. After a short meeting, participants will walk over to the newly opened Moon River Shop.
· Miscellaneous
o The 4th Monday in May will fall on Memorial Day, so the May meeting will be on the 3rd Monday of May
