Call to order at 10:03 am by Vice President Diane Whitmarsh
Welcome New Members
Approval of Minutes - January 27, 2025 - Motion by Don Golden, second by Bobbie Davis to accept Minutes, motion carried.
Update from the Board
Christine Ratliff will be leaving us. Kathy Golden has been appointed to fill the remainder of her term as Secretary.
Gallery looks great - new display designs - thank you Fereshteh.
New first aid kits will be placed in both buildings in the kitchen area.
Need for 10 additional chairs - we are growing!
Suggestion Box is located in the Gallery by the front desk. Will be reviewed twice a month and addressed at board meetings. Please add your name and email so we can give you feedback.

Art Shows and Workshops - Debbie Rodriguez
Spring Show April 5th - Registration starts March 1st. Volunteers needed to help with the show, contact Debbie to sign up.
Vie Dunn Har workshop a big success
Nola Heidbreder rug hooking demo today, workshop tomorrow and Wednesday
Joan Fullerton will be back for a workshop October 20 - 22.
Request was made for LSAG registration instructions for new members. Debbie Rodriguez will check with Travis. Action Item
Education Committee - Bobbie Davis
Summer Camp for Kids will be June 16 - 20 and July 21 - 25. Eugenia is heading it up and is requesting volunteers to assist the teachers. Ages start at 9, but mature 8 year olds will be considered. Eugenia has been advertising on social media and Nina is placing an ad in a local magazine.
The board is checking out the 5th street location to possibly expand the education facilities. Discussed signage at that location, the board will discuss. Action Item
Possible field trips to Texas Art Asylum, to LaGrange Quilt Museum, to the galleries in Galveston, and a 2nd trip to Sawyer Yards.. Stay tuned for details.
Education committee meets on the first Friday from 1-3 pm in the conference room at the FBAC. Anyone interested is welcome.
Suggestion made that we use an announcement board in addition to sending out email notifications. To be discussed by the board. Action Item

Open House February 8th had good attendance
New Member Orientation - Bobbie Davis - Well attended. It was suggested to add a tour of the facility to show where supplies and tools are located. Bobbie Davis will add it. Action Item
Gallery - Fereshteh Solati
Please send your thoughts, opinions and suggestions via email or in the suggestion box.
Team up - please sign up to work your required shifts. Thank you to those who fill in extra shifts.
Please make sure to keep items, supplies, and tools in there place to keep the gallery organized. If you use it, put it back! Cleaning supplies are in the kitchen and bathrooms, office supplies in the desk area and in the back office, tools in the cabinets in Gallery A.
Next change out will coordinate with the Spring Show.
A policy is needed for gallery workers to get credit for working the events. The board will discuss. Action Item
Gift Shop -Debbie Rose
Please see Debbie if you are interested in displaying items for sale for under $150 in the Gift Shop.
Debbie will be working all the future events to represent the Gift Shop.

Miscellaneous
Doug Hiser is sponsoring an art contest to design the cover of his new book. $100 for first place winner, a dinner on May 18 on Nasa Road One honoring the top 10 selected artists. Details on Facebook on the members page.
