Highlights From the President:
Isn’t it exciting that there is always something wonderful going on with the Art League. We had our great spring show along with preview night. Thank you all for inviting all your friends, neighbors and even some of your distant relatives as it was a fun night. As always, your presence makes it more likely to sell some of your art whether in the gallery, gift shop or studio.

Education:
The Education committee was found volunteering at Rosenberg's Wine and Beer Walk. Brenda Thompson, Lynette McQueen and Valarie Nicholson. Thank you ladies, for your support and help to inform the public on our classes and our group.
A huge thank you to Rupa Tarway for the demo after the March meeting. Rupa is a skilled Madhubani painting artist with a Masters in Business Management and a certification in Mithila Art. She intricately blends traditional folk artistry with modern influences, creating vibrant works inspired by Indian history, nature and folklore. April's Demo:
Nina Struthers grew up in England and has had many travels ! She has been involved in the business of art for almost 50 years. She started out doing home portraits in NJ at the age of 18 and moved on to creating corporate awards when she lived in Alberta Canada - Currently, she illustrates historic buildings in Galveston and sells her coastal art and books all around Texas.
