General Meeting

Call to order at 10:01 by President Linda Pietz
Welcome New Members none
Approval of Minutes - October 27 2025
A motion was made by Don Golden, seconded by Gladys Jones to approve the October 2025 minutes, motion carried.
Update from the Board
Christmas Party - Dec 8th at 10am.Bring a wrapped sock gift or stocking stuffer.
Travis will be posting a yearly calendar of events in the conference room.Please send information to him so it can be kept up to date.

Fundraising position is still open
The I Pads for the front desks are ready.Travis has ordered longer cords and will install on Wednesday.They will have an icon for membership forms and the Directory including both members and visitors.The music will also be controllable on the I Pad.
On line classes - Diane Whitmarsh advised that you can contact her if you are interested in teaching and she will help you set up your platform.Equipment to assist you can be checked out.The classes will be recorded, not live and will be added to a library of classes available through ALFB.Also, handouts and pictures will be possible to be printed by the student.There will be captioned for the hearing impaired available.Potential teachers will need an outline to set up your class.Diane or Chat GPT can help with outline suggestions.Copy Right was discussed, there is not a copy right but ALFB will maintain the actual property.Suggested price is hourly, if you charge $25/ hour for your class, your royalty would be $15/ hour with $10/hour going to ALFB.You would have access to continued royalties.Michelle Fitzgerald, Jim Fuch’s daughter, offered to help with production.

Will have an information table out front at the Dec 6th Hometown Holiday Event.Anyone is invited to participate and advertise your art or your classes..
Community Display - Brenda
Fort Bend Museum display has been removed, no further activity this year.
Events - Ladonna - no report
Gallery - Fereshteh ( Diana Miller )
1. The featured artist application will be sent out by the end of the week.. First come, first served.Travis will notify Fereshteh when applications are received.
2. Optional sales: 10 % or 20 % off for holidays.There will be green dots to indicate sale items and instructions at each register on how to ring it up.
3. We need more volunteers during the events.
LSAG - Brenda
Will be in Tomball and will have 19 - 25 demo artists from local leagues over a three day period.Let Brenda know if you want to be a demo artist.

`Christmas items due by Dec 1st, Thanksgiving will be coming down.

Book Show - Nov 29th, 10am - 5pm Kickoff to Holiday Nights with Raffle for Rosenberg Bucks ($500) and cookie crawl.
Mistakenly signed up for December 4th (Holy Rosary School gets 10%)5pm - 8pm.
Hometown Holiday Dec 6, 12 - 8pm (Street closed)
Holiday Nights Thursday Dec 11th and 18th - 5 - 8pm - Raffle for Rosenberg Bucks.
Special Exhibits and Events
February will be the rug hooked Presidents.
In March or April - Out of the Box wooden cigar box display.Paint it saw it, reconfigure it, anything goes.Boxes are available at Joseph’s Coffee in Richmond or Specs

Bobbie will be having a member orientation in January.
