Call to order at 10:02 by President Linda Pietz

Welcome New Members none

Approval of Minutes - September 2025

A motion was made by Don Golden, seconded by Arlene Martin to approve the September 2025 minutes, motion carried.

Update from the Board

Conference Classroom at the Gallery - Kathy, the classroom is set up and ready for classes.

The board is looking into expanding the Monet room at the Gift Shop by removing the wall between Amy Cassidy’s studio and the old Escher room.The sense of the meeting was unanimously positive.

Label template on the web site - in the Member section.

Locking cabinet in storeroom - for camera equipment and sound system.Contact Travis or Diane to access

Facilities and Supply Committee - Don Golden has volunteered to chair.If you are interested in helping, please contact him.

Outside the Box - Linda - using cigar boxes, show to be next year in the spring.

Christmas Party - suggested Dec 8th in the morning and the board meeting in the afternoon.

Budget 2026 - A motion was made by Debbie Rose, seconded by Mary Lynch to approve the 2026 budget, motion carried.

Unfinished Business

The Nominating Committee : Diane Whitmarsh, Brenda Bowman, Debbie Rose and Judy Beard. Candidates presentations.

Voting online will open on November 17th and closes at midnight on Nov 23rd.Results will be announced at the November General Meeting.Debbie Rose and Jim Fuchs are running for Vice President,

they each gave a 3 minute talk.Bobbie Davis is running for Membership, Travis Lairson is running for Marketing, Jillian Haberman for Education and Pam Travis for Secretary.The Fundraising position is still open.There are no nominations from the floor.

Bylaws - A motion was made by Don Golden, seconded by Peggy Nicholson to approve the amended By Laws as presented, motion carried.

HOT application - Brenda - Application has been filed to help with

Vie Dunn Har workshop, and strategic marketing plan to increase tourism to FBAC and Rosenberg

New Business

Anga addressed the membership regarding damage to one of her sculptures that became apparent following a workshop held in the Gallery.She called for renewed trust and transparency and better communication as we move forward.

Community Display - Brenda

Rosenberg Civic Center - new display hung, thanks to the helpers.

Fort Bend Museum display ends November 13th.

-- Looking for team members for Community Displays; will split locations so that teams only have 1-2 locations if preferred

Events - Christmas Party on December 8th at 10am, ALFB Board meeting at 1pm, stay tuned for details.

Northern and Southern Renaissance presentation by Fereshteh andLinda, movie “The Agony and the Ecstasy”with popcorn!Maybe in January.

Gallery - Fereshteh ( Diana Miller )

At the January rotation there should be 4 extra slots availablein the gallery.If you are interested in renting for 3 months ($30) see Diana to get your name on the list.

Featured artist to start in January,( the space by the front desk) for 1 month.Apply on line if interested.

LSAG - Brenda

We will loan our panels to LSAG for the in-person show.

Show at Lone Star College in Tomball.Next planning meeting Saturday, Nov 1st at 3pm, let Brenda know if you want to attend.

Gift Shop -Debbie Rose - If you are teaching a class, print a flyer and she will hang on the board behind the desk.Halloween items will be removed Nov. 1st if you want to bring a replacement.

Special Exhibits and Events

Book Show - November 29th, 10am - 5pm.RAA is adding the Holiday Raffle for a $500 Rosenberg Bucks drawing from 10am - 4pm and a Cookie Crawl from 11am - 3pm.
