An Anniversary Celebration and Fundraiser

Admission: $50 per person
ALFB Membership, the Events Committee is excited to share the news of our upcoming Anniversary Celebration and Fundraiser! All members are welcome and encouraged to attend. We are planning live entertainment, catered hors d’oeurves and a silent auction. It will be a memorable celebration!
The purpose of this event is to celebrate our 5th anniversary in the Fort Bend Art Center and to continue to introduce ourselves to the community-at-large, sharing who we are and what we do. We have so many talented artists, and we are spreading the word! We are calling on all members to help make this a success. Yes, this means YOU!
Please help us get the ball rolling by volunteering in the following areas:
Desk (for check out) 2 members
Wrapping experts 2 members
Front Door (registration/greeter) 2 members
Auction Set-up (Friday, Nov. 11) 2 members
Cleaning Crew (spruce up, Sat. morning) 2 members
Tear Down Crew (Sat. evening following event) 4 members
We are also asking for artists to donate items for the silent auction. We have limited space, so please let us know ASAP if you would like to contribute. We are asking for the following:
- 3 Large works (30” x 30” or larger)
- 5 Medium works (16” x 16” to 30” x 30”)
- 5 Small works (smaller than 16” x 16”)
- Several sculptures, glass works, ceramic works, textiles, jewelry
- And lessons!
Donated pieces will need to include a picture (for the bid sheet), the actual size, the value (what you declare the piece worth) and minimum bid (the lowest amount you would take for piece). If a minimum bid is not met, the piece will be returned to you. Cut-off date for donations is October 29th. All correspondence for donations and sign-up will go through Elise Russell at firstname.lastname@example.org
This is an exciting time for the Art League and Art Center. We want our name and our artists to be well known within the community. Please join us in this milestone celebration!
